Before Contacting Support

• Include your macOS version and Shello version.
• Describe whether the issue occurs with SSH, SFTP, key management, settings, or file transfers.
• Include the error message shown by Shello.
• Do not send passwords, private keys, production secrets, or unrestricted server credentials through email.

Troubleshooting

• Confirm the server hostname, port, username, and authentication method.
• Confirm network access from the Mac.
• Check whether the server allows the authentication method you selected.
• For SFTP, confirm the account has permission to list and write the target directory.
